PSP Comic Book Store

The PlayStation store finally opened up the comic book store today.  I’m just drooling at all the comic books they have listed for sale.  They have 16 free comic books you can download to get a feeling of the awesomeness of it all.

I already started reading the free Star Trek comic book and it’s pretty neat.  As you press the directional buttons going left or right (left to go back, right to go ahead) it scrolls over to a panel of the page giving you the ability to read the words as well as see what is going on in the image.  You can use your analog stick to move around then directional again to go back to where you were.  You can even zoom out to look at the graphics.  It’s pretty cool.

Naturally I had to download all 16 free comic books just in case they change their minds and charge for them lol.  But while I was doing that I was also looking at the ones they sell.  First of all they aren’t expensive.  $1.99 and you got a comic book.

One thing that really caught my eye was that they have The Amazing Spider-Man from 1963.  There are only 25 issues for 1963, I don’t know how many are total for that year but this is what PlayStation has.  And for $1.99 each I’m one happy nerd.

They also have Captain America comics from 1941…  So awesome.

And I’ve only looked in ABC so far.  I haven’t even ventured into D-Z yet.  I can’t wait to see what else they have.

  1. This blog is impressive, any tips or tricks you recommend?
  2. To commercialise in conditions of high-performance rather than monetary value, and in order to differentiate accordingly, you necessitate to pursue the classic format of the 4 Ps marketing plan. That is, Price, Product, Place and Promotion obviously you recognise the crucial properties of the product, and the price, but for place you should consider approximately the type of people who are willing to give over 4x price of competing merchandise whereas the low-budget option may be sold where emphasis is on cost, your ware will be suited to places/distributors where the clients will be willing to pay for high-performance. Thank you for this article! I’ve just retrieved a easily wonderful news blog about marketing Taste it!
