Spark People is a website that I use to track my weight loss progress and find healthy recipes to cook.
The last week of May 2010 I made a goal to start my new diet on June 3rd but I ended up starting early. When I started the diet I was 252lbs so I have 102lbs to lose. Instead of making a huge goal of 102lbs I will be making small goals which will make it easier for me to lose weight.
My first goal is 27lbs. - I finished first goal
My second goal is 25lbs - I have lost 8lbs in this goal.

Update: The doctor told me that I should only need to go down to 170lbs instead of 150 or 160 so I think that I’m going to take that advice but make my final goal 175lbs instead. That way if I want to lose more weight then I can just keep going and set another goal. This kind of takes some of the pressure off and maybe I might start losing weight more if I think I don’t have too far to go.
