Hello and thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Mike McDonald. That’s me on the left, no not the baby, the big guy in the chair.
I am not a writer but that doesn’t stop me from trying so when I think of something to talk about (or sometimes bitch about) I come here and let the world know what I think.
I grew up in Los Angeles but I currently reside in Bakersfield, Ca with my partner of 17 years named Chip with our chihuahua named Flower.
My hobbies are many, I have always liked doing crafts, unfortunately I can’t do them all the time because I have carpel tunnel syndrome now. But that doesn’t stop me from trying, as you can see the stockings in the image above is one of the crafts that I like to do.
I love to read, I’m more into the supernatural genre of books than anything which sometimes pisses people off but hey, it’s what I like.
I love playing video games. When I was 12 I got my first video game console which was the Atari 2600. I spent hours every day playing Pac Man after school and even though the graphics were tragic, it was the most fun I ever had because it was technology. Since then I have owned a Sega Game Gear, Game Boy, Nintendo 64 and PSP.
I played EverQuest which is a MMORPG game on the computer for 6 years which is where the name Xanapus comes from. Since I played Xanapus (who was a gnome wizard) for so many years the name just stayed with me. I’ll probably never stop using that name because I like it so much.
