CommentsYou are so missed, like a part of my life that has been ripped away, I feel it almost physically. But with me so many of the cherished memories I will continue to relive in my mind, day by day and night by night as I continue to travel life. The memory of the home you included me in, the family you made me a part of, the way you loved my children and my pets, as though they were your own. You're wonderful wit and candor. They way you made me laugh. The outings we had together, discovering little out of the way places, gathering new little treasures for your house. The lunches, especially at the end when we would go to 'The Greek' and you would have your favorite chicken lemon soup, the one that when you could not find the strength to go and get, I would bring to your bed. Somehow most of all when I was still new and so young here with a little child of my own, you returned home one evening with Bob and kissed us goodnight as we slept. How my little Luisa started the quoted question 'Where's Bob?'. So many memories from the shells we found on the beach, to the rocks we sifted through our hands, the talks about life. Treasured memories. Those are the gifts you have left me that no money can buy. Those gifts will be treasured, cared for and past on to all those I know. And with that, because of all those cherished last moments we spent together, when you used to love to listen to the poetry I wrote, I leave one that I wrote which I hope will find you in the wonderful yonder I know you have found.
You were the Spring in my life,
That bore the fruit of strength and faith.
You were the Summer in my life,
That filled my days with joy and brightness.
And now I find myself in the Autumn light
Where there is a golden hue of your memory
Yet the Winter darkness of your absense.
But I know that there will be Spring once more,
And with them the blossoms of the words I hear,
"Hello, Pet!" you'll be whispering in my ear.
I love you Cythia, I always will. Francesca.

CommentsDear Cynthia,
I was very lucky to move to the bungalow courtyard in Hollywood where I met Meg who introduced me to you and Bob. I actually have Chip to thank for that meeting.
You loved us as if we were your own children. Just inviting us again and again to help get your parties ready and remodel your bedroom and bathroom was more fun to me than anything. Meeting you has opened up a whole new world for me that I never thought I would get to see and I thank you for that.
You are always going to be in my heart and I will never forget you for all you have done for us. I love you.

The Journey
Do you know where your Kingdom lies?
Take no lantern in your hand.
Search not the unfathomed skies,
Journey not over land or sea,
Grope no more to the east or west,
Heaven is locked within your breast.
The splendor of the sun will grow dim,
Stars are darkened by that light;
The thoughts that burn like volcanic fire
Permeate your inner world tonight.
Set your heals on destiny and find
Love, Newborn, within your mind.
In your Kingdom lies folded,
All that your eyes will believe they can see;
All of the hues of the Earth and sky,
Time, Space and Eternity.
Seek no more in a world apart,
Heaven is folded within your heart.
